Partnered to bring Alabama Gulf Seafood to the National Stage
Since its 2010 inception, the Hangout Music Fest has represented the perfect marriage of the best of summer – live music and local cuisine.
For the next two weeks across the U.S., fans of both will be able to relive the highlights of the 2013 Hangout Music Fest courtesy of Palladia, a high-definition, state-of-the-art TV channel focused exclusively on music. From now until Sept. 15, the station will air five different segments from the three-day music fest.

During the segments, The Hangout Music Fest partnered with Alabama Gulf Seafood to air Alabama Gulf Seafood TV spots during its national premiere.
“The Alabama Seafood Marketing Commission is working hard to reinforce the vitality of Alabama’s seafood industry, and its importance to the state’s overall economic health,” said Chris Blankenship, director of Marine Resources and program administrator for the Alabama Seafood Marketing Commission. “The Hangout gave this state an incredible gift when owner Shaul Zislin conceptualized the Hangout Music Fest. To have 35,000 people come down to the Gulf this past May, to have them see it, breathe it, taste it, and live it makes for an unforgettable experience.”

About the Alabama Seafood Marketing Commission
Established by Alabama Governor Robert Bentley by executive order signed in March of 2011, the Alabama Seafood Marketing Commission (ASMC) was created to help provide advice, oversight, management and encouragement to the marketing of Alabama seafood. Led by Chris Blankenship, director of the Alabama Marine Resource Division of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the ASMC is comprised of volunteer members appointed by the Governor that includes fishermen, processors, charter boat operators, retailers, restaurant owners and others directly and indirectly related to the Alabama seafood industry.
