GULF SHORES, Ala. (Oct. 9, 2014) – Chefs representing Alabama Gulf Seafood and their respective restaurants will participate in the upcoming 43rd Annual National Shrimp Festival, to be held Oct. 9-12 in Gulf Shores. Cooking demonstrations highlighting some of the best Gulf shrimp recipes by the Gulf Coast’s favorite chefs will be located in at the Alabama Gulf Seafood tent on the west food boardwalk (see Shrimp Festival map for details).
Alabama Gulf Seafood chef demonstrations are scheduled for the following times and feature the following chefs and their Gulf shrimp recipes:
- Thursday 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. – Brody Olive, Executive Chef of The Beach Club (Grilled Shrimp Tapenade Crostini)
- Friday 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. – Chris Sherrill, Executive Chef of Flora-Bama Yacht Club (Potato Wrapped Alabama Gulf Shrimp with Grilled Local Squash and Garlic-Truffle-Chive Drizzle)
- Saturday 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. – Carl Tilley, Executive Chef of Kitchen on George (Shrimp Jambalaya Pasta)
- Sunday 11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. – John Hamme, Executive Chef of Perdido Beach Resort (Shrimp Thibodaux)
