Chef Chris Hastings Named James Beard Foundation’s 2012 Best Chef in the South

Congratulations to Chris Hastings, chef-owner of Hot and Hot Fish Club in Birmingham and ASMC Commission member, who was named “Best Chef in the South” by the James Beard Foundation at a ceremony in New York City Monday, May 6.

Hastings is a multiple nominee for this award and a recent Iron Chef winner against Bobby Flay on The Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.”
