I was born in Mobile, AL and was raised in Bayou La Batre, AL.

How did you come to work in Alabama’s seafood industry?

I came to the seafood industry through my family of four generations.

What other jobs, if any, have you held within Alabama’s seafood industry?

I shrimped on a boat for two years.

What makes your company/organization stand out within Alabama’s seafood industry?

We’re totally integrated. 100% natural, 100% traceable. We are a producer/processor, and the owner of seven state-of-the-art shrimp trawlers.

What is something about Alabama’s seafood industry that everyone should know (but they probably don’t)?

The hard and dangerous work involved in bringing the freshest shrimp to America’s dinner tables.

What is the most unusual thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

We were chosen one time by the History Channel to do their “Big Shrimpin'” reality show.

What’s your favorite seafood dish to serve up for yourself and your family?

Fried shrimp.

I have a cat named Ricky.

If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it?

I would stay in the shrimp business until the money ran out.
