Lions On The Line: Alabama’s Lionfish Awareness Day

Lionfish are certainly beautiful, but they can be very destructive to Alabama’s natural aquatic habitats. Thankfully, they’re also delicious. That’s why we’re partnering with the NUISANCE Group and the Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources Marine Resources Division to raise awareness of this invasive species and help rid our Gulf of them. Form your team today and join us at Lions On The Line to compete for more than $3500 in cash and prizes in categories like “Most Lionfish,” “Largest Lionfish,” and “Smallest Lionfish.” And stick around for a culinary competition that’ll send the winner to the World Food Championships in November, plus free Lionfish samples and an exclusive Lionfish Lager from Back Forty Brewing Company!
